The mattocks of the Dwarves? Orcs have scimitars. I imagine that there are a few common or even exotic weapons around that we just never encounter in the legendarium (maces for example; or slings).
Well, whips as weapons are a bit exotic. Tolkien never went into much detail about the weapons of the Easterlings and Southrons, though the Easterlings encountered in the books seem to be mostly from the near East, not much past Dorwinion. More like the Huns or the Tatars than the Chinese or Japanese. Tolkien certainly did not imagine any shinobi in Middle-earth; probably not even precursors to the samurai.

In The Hobbit, wasn't there a dwarf with a sling? I might be thinking of a different book though.
Not in the book, but Ori had a slingshot in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
That's it.
Gil-galad had a spear, Aeglos. Morgoth's mace was Grond. Balrogs had their whips of flame.
All standard medieval weaponry. I was hoping that somewhere there were Japanese or Middle Eastern weapons.
