I have made some home-brewed content for both The One Ring Roleplaying Game (TOR) and Adventures in Middle-earth (AiMe), the 5E setting that was adapted from TOR. The stuff that includes material for AiMe has been mostly a series of optional Heroic Cultures: Elves of the Grey Havens; Frontiersmen of Eriador; Wild Men of Enedwaith; etc.
I've not seen anything of the one ring role playing game nor adventures in middle earth. I've only played 5E sadly, as with Tolkien's works I wish I got into dungeons and dragons earlier in my life.
@Dungeonwyrm As I said, Adventures in Middle-earth is a conversion for D&D 5E. It is out of print from Cubicle 7, but Free League Publishing should have a new edition coming out in 2021, possibly under a new name.
Keep in mind I have very limited experience with 5e. I used some notes I extrapolated from a 1e adventure and updated it. I borrowed the Player's Handbook from a friend.
If you want to know anything from 5E I own almost all the books. The dungeon master's guide has some very helpful charts and guides for making monsters, encounters, dungeons. Even a section telling you about futuristic weapons like laser guns and grenades and how to use them if you want. I have found that 5E is extremely easy and player friendly to get into.
@Dungeonwyrm Thanks for the offer. I may have a few questions later, although I just did this as a mental exercise to alleviate my boredom. I'm more of a Basic/AD&D player, although I'm not averse to 5e.
1e also had stuff about guns, both standard and lasers. At the time, TSR was also producing the Gamma World and Boot Hill games, so the DMG included conversion notes. Early D&D modules such as Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and City of the Gods included futuristic weapons.
My ideas for that work were derived from game designer Lewis Pulsipher. He came up with an introductory adventure which recreated the Fellowship passing through Moria. He said clerical magic would be a better fit for Middle-earth and wrote Gandalf as a cleric. All I did was expand on his ideas.
I also own all the Original Adventures Reincarnated from Goodman games. Which includes: into the borderlands, isle of dead, expedition to barrier peak, the lost city, and castle amber. All include original paintings and 5E conversions. I have one 2nd edition book and AD&D books. I'm definitely interested in playing the old editions some time.

Here are a few ideas that I came up with a while back:
