So with the show being set in the second age, we know we are likely to see the creation of the rings of power, and with that I would assume means we will see Sauron hand out the rings to Elves, men and Dwarves... Which means we will potentially see more of the Nazgul... before they were Nazgul. Would you guys like to see this? Or do you like that the Nazgul backstories are a mystery?
Personally, I would like to see them expanded on... like I always say... even if they do a terrible job, it does not change what Tolkien wrote. It is just something new to watch. Same reason I love watching peoples fan films etc :)
It would be interesting to see the Kings of old . . . I be able to tell if I like it better a mystery if or when I see it.
I would love a back story of each of them and their interactions with each other
Im abit apprehensive about anything they add that is not at-least partially developed already. I would live to see more of their backstory however i worry that it may end up like to game of thrones were they stuff they adapted was great and the stuff they made up themselves was severely lacking
Yeah that is probably quite likely. But we will never know unless these things are tried I guess... Maybe... just maybe, they might blow us away and we may all think it is even better than Tolkiens original vision... 😅😂😂
i would like to see them expand on the Nazgul just because the animated lotr and peter jackson's lotr movies didn't expand them too much, so even if it doesn't stick true to Tolkien's vision i would still be interested to see how they would expand the Nazgul
I've read some backstories, but of course these are not canon. Only Khamul was named by Tolkien. I thought Gothmog may have been a Nazgul as well, since he took over Mordor's forces at the Pellenor Fields after the Witch King's death. But that was never stated, and there is speculation of what he really was. He was an Orc in the movie.

I've seen this building up close. I suspect it's owned by Nazgul or perhaps their wives!
But there's 12 not nine
@ShireofMiddleEarth Maybe some of the Nazgul have more than one wife. Some cultures allow it.
@eldariontkd Maybe it was made when they thought Sauron would capture the elven-rings . . .
