(I'm assuming we are just talking about the company of Dwarves from The Hobbit)
Then I would probably agree with Balin! He was a good friend to Bilbo and very loyal! A great dwarf!
Balin or Dain. I don't know that many dwarves. I still have to read The Silmarillion, Children of Hurin, Beren and Luthien and every other book. I've read The Adventures of Tom Bombadil, LOTR, The Hobbit, and Leaf by Niggle. Baruk Khazâd!Khazâd ai-mênu!
The first time I read it, I really liked Fili and Kili and was quite sad when they died. However, upon rereading the Hobbit, I have to say Balin is the kindest and the one I’d probably want as my friend. The other dwarves, especially in the books, never really get any character development and it is therefore difficult to get attached to many of them.
Probably all of the dwarves in company, I find each of them interesting and can't pick just one. I don't know much about other dwarves besides Gimli and Dain, whom I also treasure.
Dain Ironfoot is definitely my favourite Dwarf. But if we are talking about Thorins company... Then I would say Balin :)

EDIT: I've now read Roverandom.
Balin is my favorite dwarf from The Hobbit. I like Bombur as well.
Balin.
Always like Fili and Kili when i was a child but as i have got older i appreciate Balin and Dain alot more
Balin is my favorite because he seemed to always be at Bilbo's side and treated him like one of his own.

I will have to say Bofur & Nori!! :)

From The Hobbit (book): Balin.
From The Hobbit (film trilogy) Bofur and Balin.
From The Lord of the Rings: Gimli (who else?).
